Privacy Policy — WAP Passenger

This Privacy Policy describes how SPRM Modern Management Co., Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the WAP Passenger mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, phone number, and password (encrypted).
Location Data: Your pickup and drop-off locations, and your device's location while requesting a ride.
Trip Information: Pickup and drop-off addresses, distances, durations, fares, timestamps, and the assigned driver and vehicle details.
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version, for diagnostics and compatibility.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your passenger account.
To match you with a nearby driver and to calculate fares.
To show your driver's location and vehicle information during a trip.
To provide customer support and resolve disputes.
To comply with legal and regulatory obligations in Thailand.

3. How We Share Your Information

With Drivers: Your first name, pickup location, and masked phone number are shared with the driver assigned to your trip.
With Google Maps: Your location and route information are transmitted to Google Maps services to provide map display and route planning. Google's privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
With Authorities: When required by law, we may disclose information to Thai regulatory or law enforcement authorities.

4. Data Retention

Account data: Deleted or anonymized within 30 days after account deletion.
Trip records: Retained for up to 5 years, as required by Thai tax and transportation regulations.
Location data: Retained for 30 days after each trip, then anonymized.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access and review the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and personal data.
Withdraw consent for location tracking (by not using the App).

To delete your account, visit /delete-account/passenger or use the "Delete Account" option inside the App.

6. Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified within the App. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
